Within a masculine-dominant culture that constricts the feminine soul with the pursuit of progress, women suffer in a very distinct, painful way.
Groomed from a young age to be a "good girl" cog in the capitalist machine — convenient, non-feeling, in the mind, super-competent, hyper-independent, and achievement-oriented — in a desperate attempt to feel safe and belong, we cut off from our natural female instincts: our ability to feel, to receive support and love, to live from pleasure and joy, and to orient not from our minds but from our bodies and felt-sense... from our ability to feel-sense-know with an inner eye and ear that is tuned to the one-of-a-kind note of our own bodysoul.

With time, the interior creature — the wild, instinctual part of us who knows — becomes emaciated. Our lives become flat, our bodies angular with a mission adopted to hide our vulnerabilities, and our minds get depressed and anxious, constantly wondering what is wrong with us (not realizing it is the culture, not we, who are sick). As a result, profoundly intuitive, gifted women get clogged up with pain, unable to see ourselves or our gifts, confusing our deep-feeling nature with a problem to be fixed. We attempt to fill the wound with many lovers, with many achievements, with checking all the boxes of a "successful" life, but nothing really nourishes the creature within...
This is when women find me — at the start of their Heroine's Return to the deep self.​
